As she travelled through deepest Pembrokeshire, Flo the mouse was
hungry, thirsty and very bored.
Suddenly she caught a marvellous
whiff... Limping on listlessly, she spied a sign for Ivy Tower
Farm....
How strange, people were gathering to watch a human do incredible
things! he seemed to be taking the place of the Great Cheese
Spirit who, as every mouse knows, takes milk and turns it
into every mouse's fantasy!
Flo was facinated but even more hungry. Her nose led her to the tea
rooms. She'd seen how the cheese was made, and even tasted some

drank and drank and ate, until she could eat and drink no more.
Looking more like a football with a tail than a mouse, she
wheeled and wobbled her way outside, feeling ever so slightly
tipsy and with an overwhelming need for forty winks.
Not too far off she spied a tower behind a wide hedge. Wobbly -

that went round and round and round and round... Despite being
hopelessly lost Flo was enjoying herself, as were the humans - even
though it seemed like some of them had been in there for days!
Eventually, Flo found her way out and strolled through a sweet
smelling meadow where more humans were happily picnicking.
Giving Ivy Tower Farm one last, fond sniff, Flo made her way home
dodging the humans as they pulled out of the car park, laden with
all the local delicacies from the dairy shop. "I'll be back"
she vowed, " to sample the smoked cheeses.... and the
ones with herby bits... and the goat's milk cheese... and
the..."
